Aim of the course:
The course builds trainers’ capacity to use digital technologies, AI, and immersive tools (e.g., AR/VR) to enhance the learning experience in apprenticeships. It promotes confidence in selecting, implementing, and evaluating smart learning solutions that support interactive and flexible learning pathways.
Main ideas:
- Explain the concept of smart learning solutions in the context of apprenticeships, identifying their key components and their added value for interactive and flexible learning.
- Analyse training needs in work-based learning and determine when and how digital and smart learning solutions can effectively support the learning process.
- Select appropriate digital platforms and tools for teaching, assessment and collaboration, applying basic criteria of functionality, usability and suitability for the context of VET and business.
- Design blended and smart learning pathways that coherently integrate face-to-face, digital and workplace activities.
- Integrate emerging technologies (AI, VR/AR and makerspaces) in an informed manner to support the development of practical skills in apprenticeships.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and viability of the smart learning solutions implemented, and contribute to improving the digital readiness and innovation capacity of VET centres and companies.
